Steve Alicea

As Vice President of the PBA Executive Board, Steve plays a key role in representing the membership, addressing concerns, and supporting initiatives that enhance both officer safety and community trust. His blend of patrol experience and investigative expertise provides valuable insight to the board’s decision-making, and his dedication to his fellow officers reflects his deep pride in the department and the profession.

Appointed to the Weehawken Police Department in 2019, Steve Alicea has quickly distinguished himself through his professionalism, investigative skill, and dedication to service. Beginning his career in the Patrol Division, Steve demonstrated a strong commitment to proactive policing and community engagement before earning his current assignment as a Detective.

Terrence Perez

Joining the Weehawken Police Department in 2018, Terrence Perez has built a reputation for his sharp instincts, calm demeanor, and ability to communicate with confidence and clarity. Beginning his career in patrol, Terrence’s investigative skill and steady presence led to his current role as a Detective, where he continues to serve with distinction.

As the PBA’s State Delegate, Terrence represents the interests of Weehawken’s officers at the state level, ensuring their voices are heard in critical discussions affecting law enforcement statewide. Known for his wisdom and smooth-talking style, Terrence is a trusted advocate, a skilled negotiator, and a respected figure both within the department and throughout the broader law enforcement community.

Michael Debari

Since joining the Weehawken Police Department in 2015, Sergeant Michael Debari has established himself as one of the most well-rounded and highly trained officers in the department. His diverse skill set and leadership capabilities have allowed him to excel in multiple roles over the course of his career.

A former PBA President, Michael has a proven track record of advocating for his fellow officers, fostering unity within the department, and strengthening ties with the community. Now serving as a Sergeant, he continues to lead by example, mentoring younger officers and ensuring that the highest standards of professionalism and service are maintained.
